Tooth Whitening

Bridges

Dental Implants

Dentures

Dentures (plates) are composed of artificial teeth bonded to a plastic or metal base.

 

Dentures are a treatment option for the replacement of single, multiple or all missing teeth. Dentures can improve function and aesthetics.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment may be required to save a tooth that has been badly damaged due to decay, disease or injury. 

 

The procedure involves the removal of the nerve and infected tissue and filling of the root canals.  Root canal treatment allows a patient to retain a tooth that may otherwise have needed to be extracted.

Veneers

Porcelain (ceramic) veneers are thin, tooth-coloured shells that are carefully made to bond to and cover the front of teeth to improve aesthetics. Veneers are excellent for treating chipped, discoloured, slightly misaligned or misshapen teeth or gaps between the teeth, especially if these defects affect the front teeth.

Crowns

Dental crowns are an artificial “cap” that is placed over teeth which have been chipped, broken or weakened by trauma, tooth decay, large fillings, root canal therapy, bruxing or age-related wear and tear. A dental crown is often the best way to save a tooth and strengthen it. The crown fits over the prepared existing tooth and replaces the natural crown.

Tooth Coloured Fillings

At Toowoomba Dental we only use tooth coloured filling materials and avoid the use of silver coloured (amalgam) fillings.

 

Tooth coloured fillings are more attractive than traditional amalgam fillings and tend to be stronger as they bond to the surrounding tooth structure.  For further information please speak to one of our friendly dentists.
