He completed his extensive training at Griffith University, both in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. He is known for his friendly and calm personality that immediately puts his patients at ease.

Dr Lisa graduated with first-class honours in Medical Science at the University of Technology, Sydney, prior to moving to the Gold Coast to complete her studies in Oral Health. While completing her Bachelor of Oral Health and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry at Griffith University, Lisa studied alongside Dr Michael.

Dr Phoebe was born and raised in Sydney, but later moved and fell in love with the sunny state of Queensland to study dentistry. Another graduate from Griffith University, Dr Phoebe, decided that moving to Toowoomba was the right choice to continue expanding her skills whilst enjoying the slower pace of life Toowoomba offers.

Born and raised in Toowoomba, Dr Ainsley Veivers is delighted to be serving the community she knows and loves. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in 2017, Dr Ainsley broadened her clinical skills across Cairns, Mackay, and South West Queensland.

Chelsea Baker leads the marketing, branding, and design for Toowoomba Dental. Working closely with her husband, Dr Michael Baker, she helps shape the welcoming and family-focused experience the practice is known for. Her work focuses on helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their dental care. She develops the website, patient resources, runs community dental programs and educational materials, including many of the guides and children’s resources used throughout the practice.
Office Manager

Annie has been part of the Toowoomba Dental team since 2016 and is one of the familiar faces many long time patients know and trust. Over the years she has worked as Dr Michael Baker’s dental assistant, a receptionist, and now as Front Office Coordinator, giving her a deep understanding of how the practice runs. Annie plays an important role in supporting patients and keeping everything organised behind the scenes. She is truly part of the heart of the clinic, and both our team and patients adore her.

Von is one of the friendly voices helping keep Toowoomba Dental running smoothly behind the scenes. As a Front Office Coordinator, she helps manage appointments, support patients, and keep the day-to-day flow of the practice organised. Since joining the team in 2021, Von has become an essential part of the clinic. Many patients recognise her voice on the phone when booking appointments, and she is known for her warmth, efficiency, and genuine care for patients.

Karen is a valued member of the Toowoomba Dental team and works alongside all of our dentists to support patients throughout their treatment. Known for her calm and caring nature, Karen has a wonderful way of helping patients feel comfortable and reassured during their visit. Patients often comment on her kindness and the extra care she takes to make their experience as gentle and positive as possible. Karen is also a steady presence within the team, always looking out for everyone and helping keep things running smoothly.

Danica is one of our dental assistants and works alongside Dr Michael as his main offsider. Originally from Canada, she brings a warm, bubbly energy to the practice that's hard to miss. She's also developed remarkable patience for Michael's jokes, which she's heard many, many times, and somehow still laughs at. Outside the chair she's the kind of person who makes the day lighter for everyone around her.

Matilda is our receptionist and usually the first person you'll see or speak to on the phone. She has a calm, steady nature that holds up even on the busiest days, and a warm, caring way with everyone who comes through the door. Friendly, level headed, and genuinely good at making the front desk feel welcoming.
Dental Assistant

Clare is one of our dental assistants and the kind of person who brings high energy to everything she does. She's deeply team focused, always the first to pitch in and lend a hand, and genuinely cares about helping the people around her. Clare also runs our lab work, including splints and mouthguards.

Sevara is the newest face to join our team, and she's fit right in like she's been here forever. She's warm, genuine, and wonderfully down to earth, with a quiet, gentle, humble way about her. She's a thoughtful worker who pays attention to the little things and is always happy to lend a hand wherever she's needed. Sevara brings a lovely calm to the place, the kind that makes a busy day feel a bit easier.
Receptionist

Laura is the newest addition to our front desk team and one of the first friendly faces you'll come across when you visit. She's helpful, down to earth, and genuinely easy to talk to, the kind of person who's happy to answer questions and sort things out without any fuss. With a calm, easygoing manner and a warm way about her, Laura helps make the front desk a welcoming place to arrive.
